Hello RPV.
How did you spend this year's Golden Week? In past years, we would have enjoyed the holidays by going to the beach, mountains, and various events, but unfortunately, we had to give up this year (>_<...).
I had planned to go on a motorcycle touring trip for the first time in a long time, but decided to give it up gracefully. However, I could not waste the effective time of the consecutive holidays, so I took this opportunity to work on the maintenance of my motorcycle, looking forward to the day of convergence that will eventually come. The maintenance included tire replacement and overhaul of the hydraulic clutch.
I left the tire replacement to a trusted store, Honda Route 57, and I was in charge of the clutch overhaul (〃〃-〃-〃).
New tires are great~”o(>ω< )o ”I'm looking forward to going out on the road next time.
This is out of the blue, but when the master cylinder is disassembled, the groove of the C-ring that holds the piston is quite dirty.
The grease was deteriorating on the push rod as well (..._...)
C-ring grooves are cleaned with a small wheel brush (⌒ο⌒)¶
It was cleaned up there~(^o^)v
I installed a new piston set, and made new cups and O-rings, etc. (≧∇≦) In addition, I changed the bearing of the lever! I forgot to take a picture of the slave side.
When the fluid has reached the slave side, the lever side should be elevated as shown in the image, and when you "niggle" the lever, air bubbles will appear in the cup and you will feel the pressure of the lever. When the air bubbles are gone and you feel a steady hand pressure, the air release is complete.
Now it is time to put the master cylinder back in place and adjust the position of the lever to complete the process.
It looks like these holidays will continue for a while. I hope I will be able to go touring soon~ ヾ(□`∥)
