Figure Assembly

Hello RPV.

I realized that half of this year has passed. How quickly it goes by.

I know that many of you have had to refrain from going out due to the coronavirus, but how are you all doing?

Now, I am going to try to assemble the figure.

When we say assembling, we do not actually assemble them, but rather assemble them inside the PC.

The figure to be used is Bentenmaru from Moretsu Space Pirates.

First, the parts out of the box are photographed by CT as they are without removing them from the runner.

The image is an image, but we will photograph several pieces together like this.

After all the images are taken, they are imported from the CT to the PC and removed from the runner one by one.

Since only the main body is assembled, the total number of parts used in this project is 123.

It is quite a steady work, but we are still in the beginning stage. We have a long way to go...

Next, the removed parts are assembled.

Struggled to position the two core parts.

Well, the more I look at it, the more I am concerned about some parts.

We will proceed from three directions and with an overall view.

I repeatedly go ahead and then go back because I'm worried about the position of the previous part.

Finally, the last parts are placed and the assembly is finished.

It was my first time working on this project, but once it was assembled, I felt a great sense of accomplishment.

Subtle alignment was difficult, and even if it looked good in parts, it would be tilted when viewed as a whole.

Since I am going to go through the trouble, I will even try to color it at the end.

I regret that I can only color each part with a single color, but I think I did pretty well.

It would have been cooler if the decals could have been reproduced...

Actually, I have never actually assembled a figure before, but I think I could do a good job of assembling this spaceship now.

But coloring is a different story. This time, I was able to color by simply clicking, but it seems difficult to paint evenly with an airbrush.

I'm still going to be spending a lot of time at home, so this might be a good opportunity to give it a try.
