Figure Assembly

Hello RPV.

I realized that half of this year has passed. How quickly it goes by.

I know that many of you have had to refrain from going out due to the coronavirus, but how are you all doing?

Now, I am going to try to assemble the figure.

When we say assembling, we do not actually assemble them, but rather assemble them inside the PC.

The figure to be used is Bentenmaru from Moretsu Space Pirates.

First, the parts out of the box are photographed by CT as they are without removing them from the runner.

The image is an image, but we will photograph several pieces together like this.

After all the images are taken, they are imported from the CT to the PC and removed from the runner one by one.

Since only the main body is assembled, the total number of parts used in this project is 123.

It is quite a steady work, but we are still in the beginning stage. We have a long way to go...

Next, the removed parts are assembled.

Struggled to position the two core parts.

Well, the more I look at it, the more I am concerned about some parts.

We will proceed from three directions and with an overall view.

I repeatedly go ahead and then go back because I'm worried about the position of the previous part.

Finally, the last parts are placed and the assembly is finished.

It was my first time working on this project, but once it was assembled, I felt a great sense of accomplishment.

Subtle alignment was difficult, and even if it looked good in parts, it would be tilted when viewed as a whole.

Since I am going to go through the trouble, I will even try to color it at the end.

I regret that I can only color each part with a single color, but I think I did pretty well.

It would have been cooler if the decals could have been reproduced...

Actually, I have never actually assembled a figure before, but I think I could do a good job of assembling this spaceship now.

But coloring is a different story. This time, I was able to color by simply clicking, but it seems difficult to paint evenly with an airbrush.

I'm still going to be spending a lot of time at home, so this might be a good opportunity to give it a try.

Shibasaburo Kitasato Memorial Hall

Hello RPV.

The state of emergency has been lifted, but before the rainy season begins, I would like to remind everyone that we are still in the midst of the rainy season. How are you doing?

Usually at this time of the year, it is time for the Kyushu 2ST meeting, but unfortunately it was cancelled this year (...).

The picture shows last year's meeting place (Kisankan parking lot). Thank you for providing the venue every year. m(_ _*)m

The organizer, Mr. A. Yoshi, was celebrating the 20th anniversary of the 2ST meeting,

The participants and their companions (who also participated this year) presented them with words of appreciation for their labor and commemorative gifts.

Thank you for your hard work for 20 years, Mr. A. Yoshi. m(_ _*)m

Unfortunately, the event was cancelled this year, but we look forward to the next one!(^∧^;)

Also, this time (last May), near the venue of the Kyushu 2ST meeting.

Visit the memorial hall of Shibasaburo Kitasato, the "father of bacteriology in Japan," whose portrait will appear on the 1,000-yen bill in 2024.I have been here.

It is a few minutes walk from the venue.

This time of year, there are many beautiful days and it is a great walking course. o^□^o

Purchase tickets at the reception desk and enter. o^□^o

The first place you will see is the Kitasato Bunko (pink building), where various materials are on display.

The white building on the right is the "storehouse" and serves as a library.

This building was "established with Dr. Kitasato's private funds" for the benefit of the township's youth.

As I recall, the same was true for the founding of the Institute, the predecessor of "Kitasato University. \"Kitasato University" was founded in the same way!

This is the entrance to the Kitasato Bunko. Photography was prohibited in this museum. m(. _.) m

At the entrance, there was a commemorative photo of the inauguration in 1916 (left) and a centennial photo from 100 years later, in 2016 (right). 100 years have passed, it's amazing (‘-‘*)

A bust of Kitasato Sensei is on the right side of the entrance to the Kitasato Bunko.

The "noble residence" is located to the north of the bust.

This is the interior of the guest house. The staircase in the back reminds me of my relative's house in the countryside.

Dr. Satoshi Omura, winner of the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, was also a special honorary professor at Kitasato University (^-^)

This is the view outside from "Kihin-kan". The mountains in the back are probably the Kujyu Mountain Range.

Next is the "birthplace".

This is the backyard as seen from inside the "birth house."

This is a view of the birthplace seen from the guesthouse.

This is the north passageway of the "birth house". Fresh greenery grows this time of year.

Successfully cultivated pure culture of tetanus bacillus!"

This pavilion is located in the backyard of the Kihin-kan.

Many visitors came from abroad.

Dr. Kitasato is a great man who devoted his life to the medical care of the people of Japan, and is the pride of Kumamoto.

In order to follow his beliefs, he had conflicts with various quarters, but with the support of Fukuzawa Yukichi, he was able to successfully accomplish this. I believe that Dr. Kitasato is the one who deserves the Nobel Prize. Although he came after Hideyo Noguchi, who worked at the Kitasato Institute, he deserved to be chosen for the portrait on the banknote.

I wonder how Dr. Kitasato, who is also known as "Kaminari Oyaji" (Father Kaminari), views the current Corona uproar? I am wondering how Dr. Kitasato and his disciples will appear in this world and end the Corona disturbance in a flash.

I hope to emulate Dr. Kitasato's spirit of service to his own people throughout his life, even if only a little.

Also, please take a look inside the Kitasato Collection, which we could not introduce this time. I am sure you will be moved by Dr. Kitasato's achievements. It is also a good idea to think about the hardships and the way of life of Dr. Kitasato and the people involved in the Corona fiasco. I am also looking forward to the issuance of Dr. Kitasato's new bill (^▽^)

If you have a chance to visit Kumamoto, please do so. There are many delicious restaurants and wonderful hot springs in the area.

See you soon.

Restraint Week

Hello RPV.

How did you spend this year's Golden Week? In past years, we would have enjoyed the holidays by going to the beach, mountains, and various events, but unfortunately, we had to give up this year (>_<...).

I had planned to go on a motorcycle touring trip for the first time in a long time, but decided to give it up gracefully. However, I could not waste the effective time of the consecutive holidays, so I took this opportunity to work on the maintenance of my motorcycle, looking forward to the day of convergence that will eventually come. The maintenance included tire replacement and overhaul of the hydraulic clutch.

I left the tire replacement to a trusted store, Honda Route 57, and I was in charge of the clutch overhaul (〃〃-〃-〃).

New tires are great~”o(>ω< )o ”I'm looking forward to going out on the road next time.

This is out of the blue, but when the master cylinder is disassembled, the groove of the C-ring that holds the piston is quite dirty.

The grease was deteriorating on the push rod as well (..._...)

C-ring grooves are cleaned with a small wheel brush (⌒ο⌒)¶

It was cleaned up there~(^o^)v

I installed a new piston set, and made new cups and O-rings, etc. (≧∇≦) In addition, I changed the bearing of the lever! I forgot to take a picture of the slave side.

When the fluid has reached the slave side, the lever side should be elevated as shown in the image, and when you "niggle" the lever, air bubbles will appear in the cup and you will feel the pressure of the lever. When the air bubbles are gone and you feel a steady hand pressure, the air release is complete.

Now it is time to put the master cylinder back in place and adjust the position of the lever to complete the process.

It looks like these holidays will continue for a while. I hope I will be able to go touring soon~ ヾ(□`∥)

それではまた~(*´Д`)ノ~~

it's been a while (since I last saw, mailed, etc., you)

Hello, my name is RPV. It has been a while.

I have been unable to go anywhere due to the coronavirus. I had planned to go touring by motorcycle during the Golden Week holidays since the recovery from the Kumamoto earthquake is finally over, but under the circumstances, I have to give up the plan.

So, I would like to post some of the places I have visited during the year I have neglected to update my blog. I know it's a bit of an excuse, but I did take pictures to update the blog (^^;);

I visited Aoshima (Kizaki beach) in Miyazaki last April. The weather was clear but a little hazy, which is typical of early spring. The waves are small.

Note: The surf area in Miyazaki Prefecture is currently under self-imposed restrictions.

We arrived around 10:00 a.m., so most of the people who had entered the water first thing in the morning were already out of the water.

I also completed one round of golf and had "Zarusoba" at a convenience store for lunch. It's great to eat outdoors at this time of year!

Around noon, the waves disappeared, and instead, the southeast wind started to blow, albeit slightly, so we switched to windsurfing.

In the evening, the wind dropped and the sea became calm.

I was tired there because it had been a long time and because of my age.

I would like to visit there again.

Hoping for a speedy resolution of the situation. m

See you soon!

Very different from my Cub.

Hello, I am in charge of the web. It's almost December, and I feel how fast a year passes by.

I have been using a Super Cub 110 for quite a while. I went to one of your homes.

It was placed, Super Cub 125!

Cast wheels and disc brakes. They also brake well.

Plated parts are abundant!

digital meter

What a smart key!

I was surprised to see how much it has changed from my year-old Cub.

Weighing with AI?

Hello, I'm the webmaster. I'm having a hard time finding experiences lately that I can write about in my corporate blog (lol).

So, I will borrow a news story.

Portable terminal to support pig farmers by estimating pigs' weight with AI image recognition

From IT Media News

The aim is to reduce the burden of manual weighing of pigs on pig farmers.

They are going to release a tablet-like thing that guesses your weight.

Sooner or later, as AI advances, even a person walking around with clothes on will guess your weight if you take a picture of them.

A system may be developed....

In fact, our company also weighs indirectly.

As shown in the sample introduction page, it can measure the volume of the object being photographed.

If the specific gravity is known, then the weight can be measured.

Inquiries are welcome.
