The toilet tank seems to be leaking.
It is an apartment over 20 years old, so it can't be helped.
We have contacted the landlord and it will take a while.
So, since the symptoms of water leakage are getting worse, we will take it apart and check the current status.
The cause was simple: a piece of resin was trapped in the piston valve.
Once the resin pieces were removed, the leak stopped.
I've replaced the pistons and O-rings, so the repair is almost complete.
Since it means replacing the entire set of items inside, let the contractor do the rest.
This will finally eliminate the water noise and make it less bothersome. See you soon...
