It's cold!

Hello, RPV.

Last weekend, I went fishing in Amakusa for the first time in a while. I thought it might be the last time this year, so I went in the cold wind, but the fishing was not good, and I caught only mackerel and horse mackerel.

Some people around me ridiculed me, saying, "You spent 3 hours for round trip and 5 hours for actual fishing in such cold weather, gasoline and bait, and you caught this fish?" They ridicule me for spending 3 hours for round trip and 5 hours for actual fishing in such cold weather.

It doesn't matter if the hobby is painful or inefficient, as long as the person enjoys it.

So, please take care of your colds and other health problems at the end of the year.

See you~(^^)/

Tokyo Motor Show 2017

Hello, this is RPV. Last month, I went to the Tokyo Motor Show.

We went there to check the relationship with our business partners and also the future trends in the automotive industry.

It sounds great to say, but in fact, I personally wanted to go there so badly, so I did.

I arrived at Tokyo Big Sight at 10:00 a.m., the time of the event, but the entrance for my admission ticket holder was so crowded that I had to wait 40 minutes.

The same-day ticket sales were still better, so it might have been better to buy tickets on the day of the show.

The smoothest and by far the fastest way to enter is with a T-card with credit function.

I didn't know that~! I'll try this next time.;

The theme of this year's motor show seemed to be EVs and driver assistance, but I'm sure you already know that, so I'll introduce it from a different perspective. I am not so interested in them myself (^^;);

This is Toyota's booth. Latvala's WR car was on display.

Next up is the driving Subaru, the WRX S208.

BRZ~!

It is a concept car. It is a sedan, but it has a sophisticated design.

Next up is Mazda. This is also a concept car! Mazda's design is even more innovative~(^-^;);

Mazda's SkyActive engine was also on display with detailed information.

Speaking of Mr. Honda, it is still the Super Cub (^-^;);

Just recently, there was also a commemorative event at Kumamoto Works! I am more familiar with this one, which has the scent of Showa era (^-^;);

The new model also looks easy to ride.

It's a new 1000cc naked. It looks fun and full of the latest technology.

This one is said to be a bike that does not fall over, and we would love to see it put to practical use.

This one looks like a combination of a house and a car, quite a unique house? A car? (^^)

Kawasaki displayed a Z900RS, which is reminiscent of the old Z1. I think it is intriguing to the generation born in the Showa era.

The original is good, but the custom-made one is also quite good. Personally, I can't get enough of the silhouette of the 4-pipe muffler when viewed from the back at an angle.

Ohhhh I want this one!

The usuals will also be there~!

Yamaha exhibited a fuel cell motorcycle. The drive system is a rear in-wheel motor.

The swing arm is supposed to have a mechanism in which the root of the swing arm is movable, so that even if the body banked, the tire bank would be suppressed to secure grip, and the bank angle of the swing arm would not match with the body bank angle. It is an amazing feat of ingenuity and creativity that is only possible with electric bikes!

Lunch is available at the venue, but there is a waiting list, so I went to the Ariake Central Tower just outside the venue. When I left the venue, I was given a piece of paper to wrap around my wrist to allow me to re-enter the venue. If you don't have it, you will have to pay the re-entry fee again. Without it, you will have to pay the admission fee again.

This is like a commercial building, but it contains a Yoshinoya and other restaurants and is relatively empty.

I chose the grilled horse mackerel set meal.

This is what the inside of the restaurant looks like. You can be seated immediately without waiting in line outside the restaurant.

Here is the first eye candy! This is Suzuki's booth. It is a familiar mark.

This is IHI's turbocharger. The structure of recent turbochargers is quite complicated and elaborate!

Tire manufacturers are promoting the development of airless tires.

Mr. Dunlop.

Mr. Bridgestone.

Akebono Brake exhibited a fluidized brake system, a braking system that does not use friction materials. The absence of brake dust is a good thing, and this system is expected to be put to practical use in the near future.

Asahi Glass introduced a technology that projects information directly onto the windshield. I hope this will be realized soon, too!

Finally, here is the second piece of eye candy. I happened to be standing next to this booth when he came out of the waiting room in the back. As soon as he did so, 20 to 30 people with cameras gathered around him within a few seconds and surrounded him.;

The next day, I took the first train to Ikebukuro to meet a friend who lives in Chichibu, and went to the aquarium on the way. I heard that most of the fish here died a few days later, which is a shame (-_-).

It is said that they are penguins flying in the sky in the city. If you ask me, it looks something like that (^-^;);

We arrived in Chichibu. I ordered a cup of coffee at an affaires in a tangible cultural property recommended by a friend.

It is said to be a tobacco shop. It has a Showa-era appearance!

The next day, I went to Tsukiji, which is the talk of the town right now. It had already become a tourist attraction (+_+).

Since the place was crowded with tourists, I decided to have an early lunch and went to a seafood bowl restaurant in a back alley. I ordered a bowl of rice topped with only my favorite ingredients. There was a bowl of rice topped with only my favorite ingredients on the menu, so I ordered it without hesitation. It was delicious!;

My first excursion in a long time over the consecutive holidays has come to an end (-_-). When I see the Yamanami Mountains of Aso, I feel that I have returned home.

It is getting colder day by day and the end of the year is approaching, so please take care of yourselves. See you soon~(^^)/

Windsurfing (Eguchi Beach, Kagoshima, Japan, 23.11.2017)

Hello, RPV.
On November 23, I went to Eguchi Beach in Higashiichiri-cho, Hioki City, Kagoshima Prefecture, for the first time in two years.
Image checked on the way.Around 9:00 a.m.Located in the south of Akune CityThis is a beach. This is a popular beach for surfers with its clear white sandy beach.

The waves are waist to belly, and the wind is about 4-5 m/s from west-northwest to northwest side to side on. It is not enough to wind, and in surfing, it is halfway through the wind, so we move to Eguchi-hama.

The image below is from the observation platform at Eguchi beach. The waves are knee to waist and the wind is about 8-10 m/s on the west-northwest to northwest side. As soon as we arrived, the locals started to appear in court.

I think the sail size is around 4.5 m2 and the board is around 80L. I also went out with a 5.0 m2 85L, but soon the wind dropped and I changed my board to a 95L. It is quite easy to have buoyancy on the board due to my age. lol;.;

I took some photos in the evening.

The conditions were not so good with north-northwest to northwest gusty and shifty, but I ended up having a lot of fun with a 5.0 m2 sail size and 95L board. But everyone was in good spirits! Wind is getting older just like motorcycles (^^;);

It had been a year and a half since I had ridden windsurfing, so I was a bit apprehensive, but I am glad I managed to ride. However, I was reminded that my strength and endurance have declined considerably, probably due to my age!Well, my body hurts here and there today (^^;See you later~(^^)/

Tire change!

We have just replaced the tires on our outgoing machine.
Until now.MICHELINPILOT POWER 2CT: PILOT POWER 2CT used for approx. 6,000 km.
I decided to replace it because the handling was becoming unstable.
It's time to change it out as it looks like it will have a slip sign.
It was my first time using MICHELIN and the wear resistance was as good as the rumors said.
And this time, for the first time in a long time.DUNLOPBeforealpha-13I used to use

I drove about 100 km while peeling and saw that it can be laid down more than expected.
This is something to look forward to when we raise the averages.

From September, we will not be able to run as much as we would like due to the opening and start-up of a new office.
I would like to make time to go running somehow.

inquiry after someone's health in the hot season

Hello, RPV.

How is everyone doing in this continuing heat wave?

We are also working hard in the hot weather.

So, while I was busy with work, my friend and I went fishing in Amakusa.

Even though it was night fishing, it was quite hot and humid. As I was leaning on the fishing line, I saw fireworks going off in the distance.

Watching fireworks while fishing was quite enjoyable.

DSC_1243

We were told that they have not been catching much fish recently since the earthquake, so we decided to go for the bean horse mackerel without any expectations.

I guess with my skill level, it would be reasonable to target small horse mackerels at best! However, miracles do happen.

What a hit! Oh, lucky me!

After that, my friend got a flounder by swimming bait-fishing with the horse mackerel I had caught!

My friend got another flounder last week, so he generously gave his catch to me this time. Thank you very much.

Well, I guess you can't know what you're dealing with until you try!

I hope you all take good care of yourselves and have a good summer vacation!

Evangelion and Japanese Sword Exhibition [Kumamoto].

The exhibition is being held at the Prefectural Museum of Art, Kumamoto Branch from July 27, 2012.
Evangelion and Japanese Sword ExhibitionI went to the

EV-1

The usually plain pavilion is also dressed up with anime characters.

EV-2

Kumamon, the collaborating character, for the first Saturday after the event.
They greet you in cosplay. They are very popular among men and women of all ages.

EV-3

I ordered a time-consuming nameplate before looking around the exhibits.
The demonstration was given by Kaoru Sakamoto (Kumamoto) and Naoma Nishimura (Saga).

EV-4

After the inscription cutting reception is over, we will start from the 1st floor, where you can learn the history of Japanese swords.

EV-5

Dotanuki is exhibited first because it is held in Kumamoto.

EV-6

There are seven pieces ranging from the Heian period to the end of the Edo period, and I personally like the blade pattern of the Azuchi-Momoyama period.

EV-7

There are many different types of Japanese swords.

EV-8

Many Eva character-inspired works are on display on the first and second floors.

EV-9

EV-10

EV-11

And this time it is the Lance of Longinus that is being pushed.
It may not look like much at first glance, but the details and drawings show that a great deal of time and effort went into this product.

EV-12

EV-13

After looking around, I went shopping at Eva Store. Here are some of the loot.

EV-14

I think it is difficult to own one personally because of the Firearms Act, but how about one for everyone?

I believe that dangerous objects, including Japanese swords, possess a beauty that attracts people.

The period is until August 20. See you soon.

Look-alike Museum Kisara

Hello, this is RPV. I've been doing a lot of motorcycle stuff lately, so I'd like to introduce something a little different this time.
I recently went to the Kanto area on a business trip.
I was introduced to Kisara by an acquaintance of mine who loves to imitate people, so I went to Kisara.

We have received permission to publish images (videos are not allowed), so here are some of them. (They say anything is good publicity)

Here are today's performers.

Suzuki Fan RIDE Festa! Part 2

Suzuki Fan RIDE Festa 2017 in Autopolis

the highlight of this issue GSX-R1000I am a very lucky person. We are lucky to have a vehicle with no announcements.

SFRF-15

I suppressed my impatience and headed for the vehicle I was looking for.

SFRF-16

As expected of a new model, electronic devices are all over the place. I don't know how to use them (@_@;)

SFRF-17

The first impression I had when I straddled it was how light it was!
It looks quite compact, including the handlebar position.
This is quite motivating.

SFRF-18

Finally, we are on course,Let's see what the new model can do.😆!!

SFRF-19

The pace was not very fast and was about 9000 rpm in 2nd gear on the final straight.

SFRF-20

After the test drive, looking back, SS has a dangerous scent in its appearance.

SFRF-21

SFRF-22

The displacement is commonplace in Asia, but I think it would be tough to compare the maintenance cost with that of a motorized vehicle.
Everyone is going to the big displacement and not very popular.

SFRF-23

As we headed to the vehicle, for some reason the person at the front of the gixxer was asked to take over and change.

SFRF-24

Switching from a liter SS to a 150cc is like a toy.

SFRF-25

This runs better than I thought it would. It will be fun in town and downhill on mountain passes.

SFRF-26

The last vehicle I rode in was.GSX-S750 ABSThe following is a list of the most common problems with the

The GSX-S1000 ABS, price and body specs tested in 2015,

Impressions. The performance is sufficient for my needs. On public roads, about 100 PS is all that is needed, anything more than that is dangerous.

SFRF-29

I pulled this again in second gear on the final straight, about 9000 rpm.

SFRF-30

During the lunch break, a rock-paper-scissors-scissors tournament was held. Mr. Suzuki was so fat that he released his jacket as well.

SFRF-31

These are vehicles that we were not able to ride this time.

SFRF-32

After noon, the temperature rises and I, a slacker, head home.
Back at the parking lot, the scenery has changed dramatically from the morning. It is filled with quite a few cars.
(I was convinced by the queue for my turn).

SFRF-33

The test ride is heaven for large 2-wheel license holders.

Suzuki Fan RIDE Festa! Part 1

Suzuki Fan RIDE Festa 2017
I went to Autopolis held on June 18 (Sun.).

SFRF-1

SFRF-2

I arrived at the venue parking lot at about 9:00 a.m.
It was still deserted, so I hoped this would be an unlimited ride.

SFRF-3

However, after 10:00, the number of visitors increased rapidly, and in no time at all, there was a long line.

SFRF-4

That's a great number of people for a popular car model!

This time, the test car is
GSX-S1000 ABS/GSX-S1000F ABS/GSX-S750 ABS
GSX250R/ Gixxer/ V-Strom 650 ABS
SV650 ABS / Hayabusa / Bergman 200
on the website, but the venue was not.
What a surprise, GSX-R1000 is also available. Preferably the 1000R...

SFRF-5

By the way, the test course is the Lakeside Course.

SFRF-6

First, I rode a GSX250R.

SFRF-7

The cockpit area is well finished in the recent Suzuki 250cc class.

SFRF-8

Finally, we are on the course, and our spirits are high.

SFRF-9

Because of the lead vehicle, the speed is not very high.
Unlike the main course, the road surface has not yet been repaired.

SFRF-10

On the way there, I looked back and saw that the car following me was not following me.
It's tough to pace the lead car.

SFRF-11

Then the Bergman 200.
I travel by scooter on a daily basis, so from mopeds to liter bikes.
I am an omnivorous rider who rides everything.

SFRF-12

The cockpit is quite normal.
I was interested in this because I was thinking of it as my daily footwear.

SFRF-13

It runs well for the weight of the car. This is a purchase target.

SFRF-14

That's all for this issue. I'll continue in the next issue.

Kyushu 2-Stroke Meeting 2017

Hello, RPV.
Following last year, I participated in the Kyushu 2-Stroke Meeting on Sunday, May 21.

The location is the same as last year, the Mokkonkan in Oguni, Kumamoto.

The event was held at 10:00AM, but I arrived at about 9:30.

The parking lot where the event will be held does not have many participants yet. The number of participants will increase as time goes by!

DSC_1325

As we approached the Wooden Soul Museum, the organizer's photographer was taking pictures, which were printed at the venue.

It was a rare opportunity for me to have my riding photographed, so it was a valuable photo.

The weather was perfect, and it is refreshing to ride a motorcycle in the Aso area during this time of year.

Due to business, I attended only in the morning.

It was very useful to exchange information with people in Nagasaki who ride the same motorcycle.

DSC_1331

The degree of bikes gathered has improved over last year, and participants seem to be maintaining better conditions through the exchange of information.

Some of the participating vehicles looked like new.
